The majority of rechargeable batteries, including Ni-MH, Ni-Cd, and IMR/Li-ion batteries, may be charged using the Nitecore Intellicharger i8 8 Bay Battery Charger, an automated smart charger that is universal. Trickle charge, constant charge voltage (CV), and constant charge current (CC) are the three charge modes available for the i8. It has four simultaneous battery recharge capabilities, and its microcomputer-controlled charging ports allow each battery to be monitored and charged separately from the others.

An LED light indicates the current charging status of a battery, and Nitecore's i8 recognizes the battery's condition and automatically picks the appropriate mode. The i8 has many safety features, such as reverse polarity protection, auto-shut-off for fully charged batteries, and over-charge prevention, in addition to being constructed from flame-retardant and durable ABS material.
